Petrology From Geophysics
SedStrucLog
The process transforms raw dipmeter and formation microscanner data into geochrological and sedimeantary and tectonic structral infomation.

The output includes the following groups of logs:

Basic Logs
True Vertical Depth vertical depth from beginning log depth
Northing
distance north from Kelly bushing
Easting distance east from Kelly bushing
Dip Azimuth angle between North and projection and the bedding plane norm and horizontal plane
Dip Angle angle formed by these planes measured perpendicular to strike

Advanced Logs
Bedding Thickness most frequent distance between bedding surfaces
Corrected Apparent Sedimentation Rate number of years per foot
Effective Conductive Anisotropy relationship between conductivity major and minor axes
Conductive Anisotropy Azimuth angle between magnetic North and major axis of conductivity

Quality Logs
Correlation similarity of raw electrode logs
Bed Form Coefficients bedding surface equation polynomial coefficients
Signal strength total G-residual of Milankovitch harmonic power

The bedding thickness and bed form coefficient logs are combined to produce artificial sedimentary structure split core image.
